How to Reach Haridwar:
You must first travel to Haridwar to reach the Valley of Flowers. It is where the journey commences. You have the choice of reaching Haridwar by road, rail, or air.
By Road: Haridwar is well connected to all major cities by road. You may drive your car to Hardiwar. You also can take a bus from the major cities and towns nearby, including Chandigarh, Delhi, and more.
By Air: The fastest and most comfortable way to travel to Haridwar is by air. The closest airport to Haridwar is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. You can fly directly to Dehradun from Mumbai or Delhi or take a connecting flight from any location in India. Once you get down at the airport, you can hire local vehicles outside the airport.
By Train: You can also take a train to Haridwar. All of the nearby major cities are well-connected to Haridwar Junction Railway Station. From Delhi and Dehradun, you can quickly board regular trains to Haridwar.

The Valley of Flowers' peak season is generally seen as lasting from the middle of June to the end of September.
The Valley of Flowers is famous for its spring season. It gets hot in summer. The climate here is often acceptable, with an average yearly temperature of 18 degrees Celsius. However, owing to its height, the winters may become rather chilly here, which might ruin various activities.
To reach the Valley of Flowers, you first need to reach Haridwar. From here, you can take a cab to Govindghat. On the way, pass Devprayag, then halt in Joshimath. After another hour-long trip from Joshimath, you might reach Govind Ghat the next day. The trek begins at Govind Ghat, from whence it takes around 14 KM to go to Ghangaria and another 3.7 KM to get to The Valley of Flowers, where it ends.
The minimum time for the Valley of Flowers trek is six days.
The four-day Valley of Flowers Trek starts in Govindghat. From Govindghat to Ghangaria, a 14 KM hike would take 8 to 10 hours. You would need to walk for 7-8 hours to cross the additional 14 KM to get to the Valley of Flowers from the base camp in Ghangaria.
The Valley of Flowers trek is rated as moderate. From Ghangaria, the trip begins with a substantial elevation before easing until you reach the Valley of Flowers.
