Nag Tibba Trek, Uttarakhand Overview

Nag Tibba means "Abode of the Snake God or Nag Devta or Serpents Peak" in English. The local peasants highly revere the snake god. For the locals, a shrine honouring Nag Devta here on the mountain's peak has great significance. In the emotional conviction that Nag Devta is the land's guardian and livestock, worshippers swarm to pay their respects to Him daily.

It takes just one night to get from Delhi to Pantwari. Among the most popular weekend hikes is Nag Tibba, which is accessible three days from Delhi. Just 355 kilometres separate Nag Tibba from Delhi.

Overview of the Nag Tibba Trek:

Summit hikes are well-known to be extremely rewarding on a hike. For this reason, hikers are attracted to hikes like Kedarkantha and Deoriatal-Chandrashila. You may feel the rush of a mountain climb in only one weekend on a track like Nag Tibba!

For everyone who enjoys hiking, especially those considering visiting Dehradun and Mussoorie, the Nag Tibba hike is recommended. The Serpent Mountain is the grandest point in the Nag Tibba range of the Garhwal Himalayas and has many options open to tourists.

It is about a 3-hour journey away and among the most intriguing locations close to Mussoorie! One of the most incredible hikes in Uttarakhand, notably for novices, is the Nag Tibba Trek! The beautiful Mussoorie weather, known for being pleasant all year round, is also mirrored in Nag Tibba.

The trek's elevation guarantees that the weather is good all year round. In December, the nighttime low is 6 degrees, and the midday high is 25 degrees in the summertime. Just before you reach the campsite, you will begin to encounter snow sections if you choose to go on the Nag Tibba Trail during the busiest winter months. On the next day, when you approach closer towards the Tibba Top, you will, nevertheless, hit the actual thing.

On this day, be sure to utilize your snow hiking boots and hiking poles to the fullest! The Nag Tibba hike dispels the fallacy that the scenery and the experiences would be more unforgettable the more challenging and lengthy the climb. You would believe in the existence of heaven by the views of Spiti and the Bandarpoonch on each side.
