This hike has earned the distinction of being among India’s top winter hikes. Despite the bitter cold, the magnificent Himalayan peaks’ magnificent vistas, the pinnacle’s dawn, and the picturesque Kedarkantha base campsite will undoubtedly warm your heart.

Although it’s an excellent hike for novices, you must be fit and healthy to accomplish it. Kedarkantha, one of the spectacular peaks of the vast Himalayan range, ascended to a height of 12,500 feet. Kedarkantha, probably among the most well-known winter treks, attracts many trekkers and hikers from around the nation and is ideal for both novices and the experienced.

Amazing daybreak and the surrounding peaks’ shifting hues from yellow to red to orange may be seen while perched on the edge of a cliff with a 360-degree panorama of the majestic Himalayan peaks (Yamunotri, Kalanag, Swargarohini, Gangotri, Bandarpoonch, and Gangotri ranges). From its peak, Kedarkantha Trail has this to offer.

Wintertime hiking in the Deodar forest can be a terrific delight because the treetops are buried in snow, so frost may unexpectedly shower on you as you walk by them, which may be something you’ve always wanted. On a bright day, the Swargarohini range of peaks, Bali Pass, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, links Gangotri and the Har ki Dun Valley, Borasu Pass, and Devkiyara, which links Baspa River Valley and Tons River Valley, could all be seen. On the opposite end, Uttarkashi, Nag Tibba,

Tapovan, Gaumukh, and Dehradun can be seen in the broad basin and the Kinner Kailash chain.

On this route, you can see magnificent sunsets, particularly from the main Kedarkantha campsite. Under the direction of the tour leader, one may experience the snow crashes that are possible on select particular slopes. Among the most incredible wintertime hikes in India is this one.

Take a glance at these tips before going to the Kedarkantha Trek route :
